Ingredients

Apple cider (also known as sweet or soft) is widely used in U.S. and some regions of Canada for non-alcoholic, unstrained and unsweetened beverage made of apples. Despite in these countries it’s simply called “cider”, don’t be confused – it’s not an alcoholic drink popular in most of the world. That kind of alcoholic beverage is called in North America “heavy”. We suggest you to make American variant of apple cider which both adults and children will like.

Step 1

Pour apple juice into saucepan and place over medium heat bringing to the boil. Peel orange, wash lemon and pear. Cut the fruit into slices and add into boiling juice.

Add grated ginger, cinnamon and cloves. Cook for 5-7 min, switch off the heat, cover saucepan with lid and set aside for 1 hour. In 1 hour pour apple cider into cups.
