It all began with gingerbread: they began to get better, she wanted to shoot them on a technique more professional than a digital soap box. Irina got on courses on a food photo, and it was hooked! For the practice of shooting it was necessary to shoot something every day - so, she was carried away by cooking. Prepare and measure the ingredients. Sift the flour with baking powder, add salt and combine.

Melt the butter, cool slightly and pour on the flour. Combine.

Add the sour cream and quickly knead soft dough. Wrap into the cling film and refrigerate for 30 mins.

Peel and core the apples (sweet and sour kinds are the best ones), slice thinly, sprinkle with some lemon juice.

Make the filling: slightly whisk the egg.

Add the sugar, vanillin, sour cream and flour, whisk till homogeneous.

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Roll the dough between two parchment sheets, so that it is 8-10 cm more in diameter than the baking form (we used a 20 cm). Transfer the dough into the form and make accurate 4-5 cm edges.

Spread ½ of the apple slices, and then pour ½ of the filling. Repeat the procedure and sprinkle the pie with some cinnamon.
