    The Sukharnichek salad is a distant relative of the famous Caesar salad, but of Ukrainian origin. It’s easier and homey, it will fit into any home dinner or lunch and will please your family with its satisfying combination of components. Let’s cook?

    Boil the chicken breast in a slightly salted water, let cool. Preheat the oven to 170°C. Cut the cheese into fine cubes.

    Wash the tomatoes, cucumbers and lettuce. Chop the lettuce finely. Cut the tomatoes and cucumbers into cubes of the same size as the cheese.

    Wash and finely chop the dill. For the dressing combine the sour cream, finely chopped dill and garlic (put through a press).

    Finely chop the chicken.

    Make the croutons. Cut the bread into medium-sized cubes and put into a heatproof form. Sprinkle with the oil and dried dill, mix. Bake in the middle of the oven till golden, about 10 mins.

    Boil the eggs, peel and cut into halves. Transfer the dressing into a sauceboat, top with egg halves. The salad looks great on a big dish if all the components are served in sectors and the dressing is put in the middle.

    You may also serve the salad in portions. In this case combine all the ingredients and distribute the salad between separate bowls. Salad Sukharnichek is done! Enjoy your meal!
