    If you’re looking for a simple recipe that will be loved by your family, try these potato collops. The collops are made from potato mash and have a nice golden shade due to the turmeric.

    Prepare the ingredients. Peel the potatoes.

    Pour the potatoes with cold water and boil for 15-20 mins. Check the doneness with a fork – the potatoes should be soft. Add salt just after it boils. When the potatoes are cooked, pour off the water and mash them. Add the egg and butter, mix well.

    Form 8 chops from the potato mixture. Roll the chops in flour so that they are covered with it.

    Heat the oil and add a pinch of turmeric to make your collops nicely golden. Fry the collops over medium heat on both sides, uncovered, for 3-5 mins. Potato minced collops are done! Enjoy your meal!
