In the summer, when it is hot, one doesn’t want either to cook or to eat. But this light summer soup won’t make you spend a lot of time by the stove. Just 30 mins, and you’ll get a fragrant bright dish. Besides, the soup is also great when cold which gives it more chances to get your attention.

Prepare and scale the ingredients. Cook the chicken stock. You may cook the stock in advance and refrigerate some of them to use for other dishes.

Peel and dice the potatoes.

Slice the tomatoes. If the tomatoes are large, cut the slices in half.

Peel and mince the garlic.

Wash the greens and chop finely.

Add the potatoes into the boiling stock, remove and discard the foam. Cook for 15-20 mins till the potatoes are almost fully cooked. Add the tomatoes, garlic and dill. Season to taste. Cook for 2-3 mins after reaching the boiling point.
