Ingredients

Pasta is an everyone’s favourite. If you combine it with different sauces, you will get a new flavour and a new dish every time. Today we suggest cooking an original pear and bacon pasta.

Prepare the ingredients, wash the pear. Roughly grate the cheese. Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the pack.

Peel and finely chop the onion.

In a pan combine the oil and butter and fry the onion over medium heat for about 5 mins.

Meanwhile, prepare the pear and bacon. Cut the par in half, then cut into small cubes. Remove the core and the seeds.

Cut the bacon in stripes.

Add the pear and bacon to the onion, and cook for 5 mins.

Add the half-and-half and most of the cheese, mix and bring to a boil. Combine the pasta with the sauce and turn off the heat at once.

Pasta with pears and bacon is done! Sprinkle with grated parmesan and serve immediately. Enjoy your meal!

Tips:

  1. You may substitute chicken breasts for the bacon. In this case add the pears after the chicken is fried with the onions.
  2. 2. You may also transfer the pasta into a baking form and bake at 200°C for 5-10 mins.
