    Fancy cheesecake? We’ll tell you how to cook it at home, and it’ll have a nice two-coloured pattern. The classic white layer will make a nice duet with a chocolate one. A favoutite cheese dessert of many people with double taste!

    Step 1

    Preheat the oven to 170°C. Remove the cream cheese from the fridge to warm till room temperature. Prepare the traditional cheesecake crust from the cookies: grind them with a blender or put into a plastic bag and crush with a rolling pin.

    Melt the butter, let cool slightly and combine with the cookie crumbles till moist.

    Wrap the springform (24 cm) from outside with double layer of foil. Put a parchment circle onto the bottom of the form (optional). Spread the crumbles for the crust over the bottom of the form and make 1,5 cm edges. Press the crumbles well. Bake for 10 mins, remove from the oven and increase the oven temperature to 200°C.

    Make the filling: melt the chocolate over bain marie and cool slightly. Combine the cream cheese at room temperature with sugar and flour, mix till homogeneous. Add the eggs one by one, mixing well after each one.

    Add the sour cream and vanilla, mix.

    Divide the filling into 2 parts. Add chocolate to one of them, mix well.

    Pour half of the white filling over the cooled crust, spread with a spatula.

    Pour half of the chocolate filling and use a fork or a knife to make swirls.

    Repeat the procedure for the remaining filling.

    Bake the cheesecake at 200°C for 10 mins, then reduce the temperature to 160°C and continue baking for 50 mins. Cheesecake is done if the filling is quite stable and shakes a little in the centre if you shake the form. Let the cake cool completely (preferably overnight in the fridge) and remove the form before serving.

    Marbles cheesecake is done. Plunge the knife into hot water before cutting. Enjoy your meal!

    Tips:

    For an alternative crust, use 270 g chopped nuts with 2 tbsp sugar.
