Dear chefs! Happy Valentine’s Day! We wish you to love and be loved! We have prepared for this holiday and invited a special guest who would share a recipe of wonderful treat – cupcakes. Cupcake (“a cake in a cup”) can be attributed both to cake or muffins, but that’s not them. That’s a separate and extremely delicious treat. The special feature is that it’s topped with a cream cap and other decorations. This is where you could let your fantasy go! Preheat the oven to 356 F. Place 1 egg into a bowl, add half cup of sugar, a pack of vanilla powder (1.5 gr).

Whisk until sugar is fully dissolved.

Add a cup of yoghurt or sour cream and 3 tablespoons of milk. Stir the mixture up.

Melt 100 g of butter, cool down a bit, add into the dough and stir all together.

Add a cup of wheat flour and 1 teaspoon of baking powder.

Stir the batter until smooth.

Prepare the cupcake pan, place a paper case into each cup.

Pour batter into the cupcake pan filling the cells for ¾ each.

Into the middle of each cupcake put ½ teaspoon of Dulce de leche.

Cover Dulce de leche with a bit of dough. It will ensure the filling stays inside of the cupcake. Put into oven for 15-20 min.

Preparation time depends on the cupcake size. Check whether the cupcake is ready with the toothpick – it should come out dry.

For the cream: beat butter (room temperature) and powdered sugar.

Add cottage cheese and whip once again, you should get a thick mixture. Place it into fridge for 10 min.

You could use coloring gel to get any color for cream. Add a drop of it to the cream (I used red one, powdered food color is also fine).
