The term “comfort food” is relatively new but you’re sure to know it from your childhood. It’s simple and clear food that you crave during the off-season, as it gives warmth and makes you nostalgic. Chicken is definitely a good example of comfort food. To give it a new twist, just add some oriental flavours – sweet and sour dried apricots, cashew and saffron. Don’t keep yourself from adding more water, as the more sauce, the tastier! Serve in the form you cooked in with some crunchy baguette or offer some long grain rice as a side. This is an ideal and very homey combination.
