Step 1

Prepare the ingredients. Wash the vegetables and peel the garlic.

Cut the meat into thin strips. Flavour the oil by pressing the garlic into it and adding some salt.

Heat a wok or any deep pan with 2 tbsp oil. Add the meat and fry over high heat for about 5-7 mins, stirring from time to time. Add the oyster sauce, stir, pour in 200 ml water and stew uncovered over high heat for 30-40 mins till the meat is soft and the sauce thickens.

Cut the squash and cucumbers into thin strips or use a special grater.

When the meat is cooked, transfer it to a bowl. Add 1 tbsp oil to the same pan and fry the squash over high heat for 405 mins, stirring every now and then. Add the cucumbers and squash to the meat, dress with garlic oil and season with ½ tsp sugar and salt each.

Mix everything well but carefully, so that the vegetables are covered with the sauce. Serve the salad with the veal sprinkled with sesame seeds and decorated with parsley. Enjoy your meal!

Tips:

If you don’t eat meat or have no time to cook it, you may omit it. In this case, add the oyster sauce to the squash when frying.
