This oh-my-god chocolate cake, crumbly and a bit moist inside! You just can’t stop and want more and more! Try adding a scoop of ice cream to the hot cake or have it with a glass of milk, and you’ll enjoy the flavours to full extent!

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 180°C. Prepare all the ingredients. Remove the yoghurt (plain) from the fridge in advance so that it is at room temperature.

Combine the yoghurt, sugar, salt and oil. Mix till the sugar is dissolved.

Combine the flour, cocoa and baking powders and sift them to the yoghurt. Mix till homogeneous. The batter should resemble the one for fritters.

Chop the peanuts and toast them on a dry pan. Let cool and add to the batter.

Layer the bottom of a 31x10 cm baking form with parchment, grease the bottom and sides with some oil. Pour the batter and bake for 30 mins.

Remove the cooked cake from the oven and use a knife to carefully remove it from the form. The cake cuts well when cool and crumbles when hot. Enjoy your meal!

Tips:

1. You may substitute white sugar for brown.
2. We recommend using olive oil.
3. You can use any nuts to your taste.
