    Autumn is the right time for evenings spent eating delicious pies or cakes and drinking hot fragrant tea. Pumpkins have ripened, so it is high time we baked a pumpkin-spiced cake. The moment we add some chocolate chips, its taste gets utterly perfect! All that is left to do is to brew tea and enjoy the feelings that autumn tends to inspire.

    Prepare the ingredients.

    Swift flour, spices, salt, baking powder and baking soda together into a bowl, set aside.

    In the other bowl mix together butter with white and brown sugar, then add eggs and beat up 2-3 minutes until combined. Add pumpkin puree and mix it well.

    Add flour mixture into the pumpkin mass, mix with a spatula until combined. Pour milk and stir it up.

    Add chocolate chips mixing out pastry with a spatula. Grease a cake pan with a thin layer of butter and sprinkle with flour, shake off the excess.

    Preheat oven to 180°C and bake for 55 to 60 minutes until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

    Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool before inverting onto a serving plate. To make the ganache, bring the cream to a boil in a small saute pan and pour it onto the chopped chocolate. Leave for 1-2 mins and mix till well combined and homogeneous.
