Cabbage dumplings (galushki)

Ingredients

We suggest cooking unusual galushki from boiled cabbage, cheese and semolina. They are perfect for any meal and quick and easy to make.

Prepare the ingredients.

Boil the new cabbage in salted water till soft. Grind it in a meat grinder with a fine plate. Pour off the excess liquid.

Grate the cheese using a grinder or a grater.

Add 2 eggs.

Add the semolina and mix thoroughly. Leave for about 7 mins to let the semolina swell. Add the semolina in parts, as you may need more or less of it depending on the size of the eggs.

Bring to a boil some water for boiling the dumplings. Make walnut-size balls from the dough. Grease your hands with some oil to make the process easier.

Salt the water. Boil the dumplings in the boiling water for 5-7 mins and transfer to the serving plates with a slotted spoon.
