We devote this brownie recipe to all the chocolate lovers. Brownie goes perfectly with coffee, ice cream or warm milk. And it is also delicious on its own! Besides its main advantages – rich taste, amazing structure: soft, elastic, with moist filling… oh gosh!… besides this it’s so easy to make it! Another feature of brownie is that it’s being baked as a pie and you cut it in square pieces only when it’s ready.

Preheat oven to 338 F. Cut butter and chocolate into cubes (save a small piece of butter to grease the form later on), warm in microwave or stew-pan over the lowest heat, mix with whisk until smooth and put aside to cool to room temperature.

Sift together dry ingredients: flour, cocoa and baking powder. The classic brownie recipe doesn’t contain baking powder so the brownie turns out more chewy and dense.

Beat 4 eggs and sugar with mixer, add dry ingredients, butter-chocolate mixture and stir gently with spatula.

Grease 23x25 baking pan with butter, pour in the dough, make it even with spatula and place in the middle of the oven.

Brownie is being baked for 20-25 min, the outcome should be like this: soft bottom and moist (but not liquid) center. You could achieve it following 2 tips: turn the heat off in 5-7 min after you start feeling the smell of chocolate pastry. For the first times, to avoid mistake, check the readiness with the toothpick: if it comes out with liquid batter, the brownie is not ready yet. If the toothpick comes out with moist crumbs – make sure you switch off the oven and take brownie out immediately. The dry clean toothpick means you have overcooked the pie.
