    Blondie is one of the most popular American desserts. It is a pie that is cut into square bars. Sometimes blondie is thought to be a sister of brownie. It is moderately sweet with a crumbly crust, moist, soft and a little fudgy inside. And due to the pieces of white chocolate it has a nice toffee touch.

    Prepare the ingredients.

    In a deep bowl combine the icing sugar, salt, vanilla extract and eggs. In a separate bowl combine the flour with baking powder and soda, mix well. Melt the butter and let cool.

    Pour the butter into the egg mixture. Whisk till homogeneous.

    Sift the flour in several parts and add to the batter. Mix with a spatula till the ingredients are combined.

    Chop the chocolate and add to the batter. Mix with a spatula till the chocolate is evenly distributed.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C. Layer the baking form (we used a 25x15 cm) with parchment. Pour the batter into the form and spread evenly with a spatula.

    Bake in the middle of the oven till golden, 35-40 mins. The toothpick coming out from the middle of the blondie should be dry.

    Cool the blondie and cut into squares. Decorate with nuts, if you want. Blondie can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature up to 1 week. Enjoy your meal!
