Prepare the ingredients.

Put the puff pastry on a working surface lightly dusted with flour to defrost at room temperature. Wash two ripe pears thoroughly (it’s better to use sweet varieties like Williams) and dry it with paper towel. Mix sugar with cinnamon.

Roll the dough and cut for 4 parts (wide strips) focusing at size of pears. It’s better to make it at the parchment paper.

Cut the pears in halves and remove the seeds. Dry it with paper towel.

Make snips at outer side of pears not reaching the base where the core once was (so they don’t fall apart). Strew snips with sugar and cinnamon. If pears will give too much juice dry it with paper towel.

Put pears at the dough and cut circuits with sharp knife indent 1,5 cm from pears. You can cut leaves at the place of cores.

Heat the oven to 356 F. Place pears with parchment paper at the pan and grace dough with yolk (use the cooking brush).

Bake for 15-20 minutes until brown. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
