Apple crumble in a microwave

Ingredients

Crumble is a famous dessert consisting of 2 layers, i.e. fruit or berry base and flour crumbles. We suggest cooking the most delicious and healthy version with almond flour and oats. It’s a completely Lenten recipe which will please not only those who is on a diet but also those who want to spend minimum time on cooking. You don’t even need an oven – just 5 minutes in a microwave, and here’s your dessert!

Prepare the ingredients. Wash the orange thoroughly. Finely zest it (1 tsp) and squeeze 3 tbsp juice for the recipe.

Wash and peel the apple, remove the core and cut into cubes.

In a bowl combine the almond flour, 10 g oil and ½ tbsp. honey. Separately combine the oats, the remaining honey, zest, orange juice and cinnamon.

Add the oats mixture to the apple and mix. Microwave both the bowls in for 1 minuteat maximum power. To make the apples softer, double the time.

Transfer the oats mixture into a deep serving dish and sprinkle with the almond flour mixture.

To get a golden crust, microwave the crumble for 1 minute at grill mode. If you enjoy sweet dishes, drizzle the dessert with extra honey.
