Ingredients

We are used to thinking that a pie can’t be healthy. Or at least not so bad for our waists and hips because of butter and sugar. Today we suggest cooking a spectacular, healthy and very simple-to-make apple pie. You will need only 4 ingredients to make it! And it is not its only advantage! If you are a vegan, you are sure to like this pie, as it is the easiest, quickest and probably the healthiest apple pie. It has no sugar or any products of animal origin.

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 437 F. Layer the bottom of a springform (we used a 18cm) with parchment and grease the sides with some oil.

Wash, peel and core two medium-sized apples. Cut them into wedges.

Prepare the necessary amount of rolled oats. Peel the third apple and cut it into chunks. Put the apple and oats into a blender (or use a hand blender).

Add the oil and blend till homogeneous.

Transfer the mixture into the springform and even with a spatula.

Arrange the apple wedges on top.

Using a fine sieve, sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake the pie in the middle of the oven for about 25 mins till golden. If you want, you may sprinkle some honey or maple syrup on top before serving.
